The following letter to WWF comes from discussions with our partners and organisations across the Majority World, who have highlighted colonial conservation as a major threat to their land and livelihoods.
It contains the core of our analysis of the problem and solutions.
We encourage people to sign it as themselves and on behalf of organisations, to show WWF how many are outraged by their actions and want conservation done in the most just way for people and planet.
If we want the open letter to reach WWF senior management we need as many signature as possible, so please share this far and wide with your freidns and on your social media.
In addition we invite you to email it directly to WWF President and Chief Executive Officer, Carter Roberts, at carter.roberts@wwfus.org to increase the pressure of WWF leadership to listen to our collective voice!
